Atlant — hockey digital media

On the 2nd of April 2008 it was officialy announced that Hockey Team Himik Moscow region is renamed to Hockey team Atlant. Thus Atlant became a legal successor of Himik.

Atlant's first season was 2008/09 hockey season – that time it entered Continental Hockey League. Latter comprises of best teams of Russia and post-CIS countries – Belorussia, Latvia and Kazakhstan.

In 2009/10 season Atlant plays in CHL with 24 best teams again, and in following 2010/2011 it contends with 23 teams. In 2011/12 after slovak club Lev enters and Lokomotiv Yaroslavl leaves the ranks KHL comprises of 23 teams again. That year Atlanrt scores silver prize of the previous league.

Club is patronized by Moscow region government.

Club is based in Mytischi and plays home in Arena Mytishci.
