Multilanguage ecommerce network for the international trading company.

IPC2U Group is a group of independent companies in Western and Eastern Europe united by a single goal — the supply of equipment and the provision of services in the field of industrial automation.

Participation in the IPC2U association provides companies with many advantages: attracting a significant proportion of customers, optimizing logistic flows, expanding the product mix and possible business diversification.  The unified Internet platform ensures the centralization of information flows and the formation of a common database of technical customer support and also creates a unified service standard.

Today IPC2U Group includes companies from the following countries: Russia, Germany, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Project goals

  1. Develop the eCommerce platform for pan-Europe expantion.
  2. Integrate eCommerce solution with warehouse software more than in 10 countries.
  3. Create and maintain platform-based eCommerce network.

Cetera used 1C-Bitrix eCommerce software to lauch IPC2U eCommerce platform.

Project included these components:

  1. Strategy and consulting.
  2. Infrastructure setup.
  3. eCommerce software installation.
  4. IA, UX and UI design.
  5. Webshop coding and development.
  6. Webshop integration with SAR R3 Warehouse software
  7. Support and maintenance.


Cetera team used Scrum in this project. The launch period was three months. Scrum is an agile framework for managing work with an emphasis on software development. It is designed for teams of three to nine developers who break their work into actions that can be completed within timeboxed iterations, called sprints (typically two-weeks) and track progress and re-plan in 15-minute stand-up meetings, called daily scrums.
